DAY 5 : CLASS OBSERVATION AND MET PRESIDENT OF UC

Friday, September 6 2019
Today is the day we have an appointment with Mr.remir. We have an appointment at 10.00 AM. At 5.20 I was awake and praying Subuh. After praying Subuh and do all my activities I take a short break. At 09.30 we were all ready to meet with Mr. Remir at his office. All of us went straight to his office. There we met with our respective buddies and we were invited to come in and wait because the president of UC was still unable to come. While waiting, we all told stories with buddies about various things such as religion, food, habits, and education systems in each country.

After 12.34 PM Mr. Remir came to tell us that the president of UC had not yet arrived because there was a rush, whereas now it was time for lunch. Mr. Remir also invited us to eat lunch first and rest. If the president of UC has come he will inform us through JM which is one of the buddies.

Around 2.12 PM JM and his friends picked us up at the hotel and we all headed straight for the president's office. We had a private meeting with him together with the buddies and Mr. Remir. We are very pleased to meet with the president of UC Mr. Ray Dean D. Salvosa and the buddies were very happy, because according to them it was a very rare moment and only lucky people could meet him. During the meeting we talked about various things, he was very humble and very kind. We discussed with him about the occupation, the ASEAN country, how the process of the formation of UC, talked about the religion of eating halal for us. At the end of the talk he invited us to eat together, before we returned to Indonesia, he invited us to try typical Halal food from the Philippines. After meeting with him we went back to the hotel for a break and dinner.
