DAY 3 : FIRST ORIENTATION AT SCHOOL

Today we have an appointment with Mr.Remir at 08.00 AM, half an hour before that we were in front of his office and waited until 09.00 AM because he had a meeting. After the meeting was over, Mr. Remir escorted us to the school owned by UC. Mr. Remir drove us with his private car. At the school we will conduct orientation, observation, and teach in class. For today we are just orientation, before orientation starts Mr. Remir invited us to meet with the Principal. The principal of the school is a woman whose name is ma'am Gladys S. Sibayan.

 Ma'am Gladys explained to us about the school, such as regulations, school conditions, number of students etc. In addition we also met with our buddies who will accompany us for less than 1 month. Then Mr. Ramir gave us time to get know each other with our buddies. I get buddies, her name is Margie, she’s very kind and always smile. At 09.30 AM we were invited by Ma'am Gladys to tour the school. We visited all parts of the school, such as classrooms, teacher's room, library, administration room, restroom, canteen, field, medical clinic, and mini garden.

After finishing the orientation introduction to the school environment we returned to the hotel together with the buddies using Jeepney, and we paid 10 pesos.

     After arriving at campus we bought lunch in the canteen then ate together with buddies in the hotel room. After finishing we ask our buddies for time to pray for a while.

At 02.00 PM we were invited by the buddies to tour the campus, we visited the library, sports area, multipurpose room, nurse's room, and student president's room.

       After they finished offering us to take a walk around the campus, we walked with them outside. In the middle of the trip I bought a sleeping cloth, hunger, at a cheap price. After finishing shopping we are invited to a park that is so beautiful complete with flowers and views of the lake which is very beautiful, namely Burnham Park. Burnham Park, officially known as the Burnham Park Reservation, is a historic urban park located in downtown Baguio, Philippines. It was designed by American architect and Baguio city planner, Daniel Burnham who is also the namesake of the park. Burnham Park was envisioned by American architect Daniel Hudson Burnham as part of a larger plan for the city of Baguio in 1905. Burnham worked with William E. Parsons in coming up with plans for the city of Baguio, as well as the capital city of Manila. The area where Burnham Park is situated was formerly known as 'Baguio Meadow".

Burnham Park has twelve designated clusters as of 2018.

      After finishing taking pictures together for documentation, we returned to UC campus hotel using Jeebney. Some of my friends returned to the hotel, but some went with me (Yosi, Deris, and Sugis) to buy load, drinking water and some food. After finished we returned to the UC hotel. Suddenly on our way it was rained, luckily we brought an umbrella. While carrying groceries we also held an umbrella with a distance of about 2 kilometers.
